  DISCAVAGE
  
  Vera Mae (Bowser) Discavage, 85, Stoystown RD 1, formerly of Ford City,
  died March 2, 1996, at the Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.  Born
  November 5, 1910, in Blue Knob, daughter of Edmund and Celestia (Earnest)
  Bowser.  Preceded in death by parents; infant son, Anthony; sisters, Elsie,
  Mabel and Esther, and brothers, Earl and Edwin.  Survived by husband,
  Anthony Jr.; daughter, Judith Ann, wife of Allen Rhoads, Stoystown RD 1;
  grandchildren: Lisa Michelle, wife of Joseph Grosholz, Kansas City, MO.;
  Karen Leigh Rhoads and Scott Allen Rhoads, both of Stoystown RD 1; and
  sister, Evelyn Dhiel, Dover, Del.  Member of St. Luke's United Church of
  Christ, Kittanning, and Kittanning  Chapter 277, Order of Eastern Star,
  where she was a past Worthy Matron.  Former Mother Advisor for Rainbow
  Girls.  Observed 57th wedding anniversary June 25, 1995. Friends were
  received Sunday evening and will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday
  at Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell, where Somerset Chapter,
  O.E.S., will have a memorial service at 2:30 p.m. Monday.  Viewing also from
  10 a.m.  until the time of service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Mount Hope
  United Church of Christ, Blue Knob, Blair County, the Rev. John W. Snyder
  officiating.  Interment, church cemetery.  Memorials to "In Touch" Hospice,
  651 S. Center Ave., Somerset, PA., 15501 or St. Luke's U.C.C. North McKean
  St., Kittanning, PA., 16201 would be appreciated.
