Dishong, 59, of Tisdale Street, was pronounced dead on arrival Monday at Frostburg Community Hospital, Frostburg, Md. He was born at Grantsville, Md., and was a son of the late Charles Dishong and Rose (Robison) Dishong. He was employed at the Celanese Fibers Company as an extrusion operator and was a member of the Welsh Memorial Baptist Church and Celanese Local 1874. Surviving are his widow, Inez (Lewis) Dishong; four sisters, Mrs. Kathelene McKenzie of Avilton; Mrs. Helen Hoiler, Mrs. Betty Jane Showalter, both of Salisbury; Mrs. Eileen Layman of Grantsville; and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends were received at the Durst Funeral Home. Services were conducted in the funeral home with the Rev. Lewis W. Terry officiating. Interment will be in the Frostburg Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be George Edwards, Eddie Whitaker Jr., Allen Eichhorn, James Smith, Ervin Wampler, Wilbur Buckalew and William Lewis. The Republic, February 14, 1980 [D0679]
