Dishong Jr., 64, of Corriganville, Md., died Thursday, Dec. 5, 1985, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md. He was manager of automotive testing at the Allegany Ballistics Laboratory and was a former general manager for Potomac Motor Sales, now Gateway Motors, Winchester Road. Born in Boynton, Mr. Dishong was a son of Samuel F. Dishong Sr., Hyndman, and the late Marie (Duckworth) Dishong. He was a member of the American Society for Testing Materials and the Society of Automotive Engineers, and was a member and former secretary of the Proving Ground Safety Committee. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and was a former member of the Corriganville Volunteer Fire Department. His wife, the former Marguerite Crump, died in 1981. Surviving besides his father are one daughter, Mrs. Sandra Robertson, Leadville, Colo., and a brother, William D. Dishong, Corriganville, Md. Friends were received at the Hafer Chapel of the Hills Mortuary where services were conducted Saturday at 11:30 a.m. by Father Stanley Miltenberger. Interment, Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
