Born Aug. 18, 1930, in Brownsville, Texas, a son of James and Consuelo (King) DiValentone. Survived by his wife of 52 years, the former Jean Cleimer; children, Rudolph Jr., married to the former Diana Brimberg, Jenners; Debra Lisbon, Boswell; Donna Yohman and fiancˇ, Richard Saylor, Hooversville; Anthony Paul, married to the former Debra Fish, Boswell; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A brother of James and John DiValentone, both of Texas; and Lucy Colaizzi, Delmont. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army for 22 years, serving in the Vietnam War. Member of the Jenner Rod and Gun Club, The Polish Falcons, VFW Post 7565, Hooversville and American Legion Post 802, Jerome. Family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in Rudy's name to the American Cancer Society, 168 W. Union St., Somerset, PA 15501.
