Diveley, 73, of Biglerville RD 1, died May 17, 1983, at Gettysburg Hospital. He was born in Somerset County, but has resided in Adams County most of his life. He was the son of the late Jonas and Mary (Mishler) Diveley. He was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, Arendtsville, the Arendtsville Fire Company, and the Adams County Fish and Game Assn. He is survived by his wife, Naomi L. Cutshall; two daughters, Mrs. Darlene Brown of Nottingham; Dolores W. Diveley, Worcester, Mass.; three sons: Kenneth V. Diveley, 2046 York Rd., Gettysburg; Eddie E. Diveley, Anchorage, Alaska; two sisters: Hazel Heinle and Ruby Landis, both of Berlin; one brother Spurgeon, Meyersdale; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday from the Zion United Church of Christ in Arendtsville with the Rev. Lynn R. Schultz officiating. Interment, Fairview Cemetery, Arendtsville.
