She was born Aug. 11, 1911, in Dunmore, W.Va., a daughter of the late Russell and Hattie (Moore) McLaughlin. She was preceded in death by husbands, Grant Baker and Spurgeon Dively; these sisters and brothers; Laura Dill, Virginia Gore, Myrtle Bittner and Stirl McLaughlin, and a son-in-law, Darrell Deal. She is survived by a daughter, Alice Deal, Meyersdale RD 3; two stepdaughters, Mildred Newton, Olathe, Kan., and Zona Coleman, Meyersdale RD 4 and two step-grandchildren. Also a brother, Ellis McLaughlin of Archer City, Texas, and a number of nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Pythian Sisters of Frostburg, Md. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, with Pastor David Fetter and Pastor Steven Heintz officiating.
