Born March 3, 1940, in Ogle Township, the daughter of Samuel Elmer Sr. and Clara Edna (Baker) Mathias. Preceded in death by parents and an infant daughter. Survived by daughters, Cheryl A. Dickey, Somerset; Mrs. Rick (Susan D.) Leer, Somerset; grandsons, Jason Alan Dickey and wife, Nicole, Pittsburgh; Brandon Dickey, Somerset; brother, Samuel E. Mathias Jr. and wife, Louise, Slippery Rock; and former husband of many years, Larry Dively, Somerset. A 1958 graduate of Somerset High School. Lois worked in the deli department of the former Riverside Market, Somerset and later worked in the resident program department of the Bedford Somerset MH/MR until her retirement in 2004. She also was a member of the Geiger Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed collecting teddy bears and vacationing in North Carolina. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset and one hour prior to the service at the church, which will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Geiger Church of the Brethren.
