Dively, 92, of Somerset, formerly of Friedens RD, died Jan. 22, 2003 at Somerset Hospital. Born June 5, 1910 in Somerset Twp., daughter of William and Sadie Amanda (Darr) Weighley. Preceded in death by parents, husband Harry M. in 1996, granddaughter Lisbeth, daughter-in-law Dorothy (Mull) Dively and sisters Mary Baer, Anna Glessner and Pearl Ogline. Survived by these children: John of Friedens, George "Duck," married to the former Dorothy Miller of Somerset, Leroy, married to the former Teresa Reckner of Confluence, Eleanor, married to Robert D. Custer of Stoystown, Larry, married to the former Leona Bittner of Somerset and Floyd, married to the former Sandra Gasperine of Friedens; 16 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by a brother Milton Weighley of Friedens. She taught school for 30 years in Somerset Area Schools and was a former antique dealer. Member of Geiger Church of the Brethren and Geiger Senior Citizens. Founding member and director of Geiger Community Center. Organizer and former leader of Geiger 4-H Club. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown. Viewing from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Friday at Geiger Church of the Brethren. Rev. Gerald E. Deffenbaugh officiating. Interment Somerset Co. Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be given to Geiger Church of the Brethren, 185 Culligan Rd., Friedens, Pa. 15541.
