Dively, 64, of Berlin, died July 24, 1996, at Washington (D.C.) Hospital Center. Born July 28, 1931, in Berlin, a son of the late George and Florence (Philson) Dively. Survived by his wife of 39 years, the former Iona Jean Zerfoss, and children: Todd William, married to the former Deidra Paul, and Diane K., married to Timothy Landis, all of Berlin; also six grandchildren. Brother of Phyllis Smith of Cumberland, Md.; Thomas P. Dively of Berlin; Betty June Wymer of Wheeling, W. Va., and Barbara Craig of Mount Morris. Retired from Columbia Gas of Pa. Air Force veteran of Korean Conflict. Member of the following Berlin organizations: Brethren Church, Lions Club past president and Melvin Jones recipient; fire company and Ambulance Association, VFW and American Legion; past president, Community Grove Association; Harmonaires Quartet. Former cub master of Pack 135 and part-time police officer. Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Pastors Bryan Karchner and Ralph Landis officiating.
