Born Nov. 29, 1914, in Somerset son of Charles William and Rose (Shaulis) Dively. Preceded in death by parents; wife, the former Eleanor Jean Rankin; brothers: A.J. "Jim" and Charles; sister, June Duliere and grandson, Jerry Dively Jr. Survived by these children: William C. of Friedens, Robert married to Donna Shields of Mount Pleasant, Lois, married to Charles Moyer of Manassas, Va., Carol Cobb of Columbus, Ga., Marlin, married to the former Kay Lowry of Shanksville, Jerry, married to the former Patricia Russel of Etters, Terry, married to the former Darlene Miller and George married to the former Esther Stern, both of Friedens and David, married to the former Mary Reynolds of Albany, N.Y.; 21 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Also survived by a sister, Margaret Leslie of Cannonsburg. A 1931 graduate of Somerset Township High School. Retired owner of Dively Trucking of Friedens. Member of Friedens Lutheran Church; Somerset Aerie 1801 F.O.E. and Somerset County Voters Hall of Fame. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown. Viewing from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Saturday at Friedens Lutheran Church. Rev. Edward V.
