  DIXON
  
    Mrs. Effie M. Dixon, 95, of Lancaster, formerly of Somerset, died 
  July 31, 1985, at St. Joseph Hospital, Lancaster. Born Sept. 18, 1890, in 
  Brothersvalley Township, a daughter of the late James and Elizabeth 
  (Coleman) Hauger. Preceded in death by her husband, Dorthy; three sons, 
  Walter, Dale and Glenn; a daughter, Melba; and two brothers. Survived by 
  two children: Royden of Temple Terrace, Fla.; and Mary Elizabeth of 
  Lancaster; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Miss 
  Rae Hauger of Berlin. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Trinity 
  Chapter, O.E.S., and Daughters of American. Friends will be received from 7-9 
  p.m. Friday at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, where services will 
  be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Greg Anderson officiating. 
  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park. O.E.S. services will be held 
  7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
