  IVA M. DIXON
  
    Iva M. Dixon, 80, of 619 Walnut Avenue, Fairmont, W.Va., died Monday,
  Dec. 19, 1988, at the Henry Clay Villa in Markleysburg.  Born October 18,
  1908 near Friendsville, Md., she was a daughter of the late Lloyd Jasper
  Grove and Mary Ellen (Beckett) Grove. 
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul F. Dixon, on May 18, 1970.
  She was a homemaker, a member of the Mill Run Mercy Chapel and a 1927
  graduate of Accident High School.  She is survived by four sons, Warren L.
  Dixon, Confluence; Richard I Dixon, Newport News, Va.; Theodore F. Dixon,
  Claysville; and Kenneth L. Dixon, Wheeling, W.Va.; two brothers, Floyd
  Grove, Mill Run; and John Grove, Philadelphia; two sisters, Mrs. Elsie
  Glass, Keyser's Ridge; and Mrs. Pauline Queer, Mount Pleasant; eleven 
  grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
    Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Home in Friendsville on
  Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.  Services will be conducted Thrusday
  at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home by Pastor Thomas Crogan.  Interment,
  Blooming Rose Cemetery in Friendsville, Md.
