  LARRY J. DIXON 
  
    Larry J. Dixon Sr., 46 of Stoystown RD 1, died January 17, 1983, at
  Windber Hospital.  He was born January 4, 1937 in Wilbur, son of Roland and
  Velma (Larson) Dixon. He was preceded in death by his Father.  He is
  survived by his Mother of Boswell; window, the former Dorothy Johnston; two
  children: Sharon Lynn and Larry Jr., both at home. 
    He was the brother of Fern, widow of Merle Flick, Friedens; Aletta, wife
  of Frank Strasiser, Stoystown; Harold, married to the former Rose Rocha,
  Tularusa, N.M.; Blair, married to the former Frances Mallick, Fontana,
  California; Janet Kings of Boswell; Sandy, wife of Donald Spangler or
  Rockwood RD.
    He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Hooversville; Jenner Rod and
  Gun Club; and Johnstown Local 2635 USW.  He was the former employee of
  Bethlehem Steel and Davis Bus Co., Somerset.  He was an Army Veteran of the
  Korean Conflict.
    Friends were received at Hoffman Funeral Home, where services were held
  with Pastors William J. Dodson and Gerald L. Myers officiating.  Interment,
  Jenner Crossroads Cemetery.
