Dixon, of 114 Gilstrap Drive, died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2004. Born in Somerset, Pa., she was a daughter of the late A. Kent and Elsie Cary Statler Miller. She was a Registered Nurse and received her degree from Maryland General Hospital in Baltimore, Md. Mrs. Dixon and her husband owned The Dixon Box Company. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir. She was a member of the Poinsett Club, the Greenville Woman's Club and the Greenville Garden Club. Surviving are a son, J. Kent Dixon, and his wife, Amy Murdock Dixon, of Easley; a sister, Harriett Restifo, of Ormond Beach, Fla.; and grandchildren, Tiffany Elizabeth Dixon, of Greenville, and Rhata Cary Dixon, of Easley. Funeral services will be today at 3 p.m. at the Mackey Mortuary, with the Revs. Paul Youse and Charles Snook officiating. Entombment will follow at Memorial Mausoleum, Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends today from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at the mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southernside Community Center, c/o the Rev. J.M. Flemming, 846 W.
