  DIXON
  
  Velma Dixon, 80, 313 Main St., Boswell, died March 14, 1986, at 
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born June 2, 1905, in Listie, she was a 
  daughter of the late Andrew and Nellie (Miller) Larson.
  Preceded in death by husband, Roland; son, Larry; two sisters, a 
  brother, a granddaughter, and three great-grandchildren. Survived by these 
  children; Mrs. Fern Flick, Boswell; Mrs. Frank (Aletta) Strasiser, 
  Stoystown RD 2; Harold married to Rose Rocha, Tularosa, N.M.; Blaire , 
  married to Frances Mallick, Twin Peaks, Calif.; Mrs. Janet King, Boswell; 
  Mrs. Donald (Sandy) Spangler, New Centerville; daughter-in-law, Dorothy 
  (Johnston) Dixon, Boswell RD1; 19 grandchildren and 14  great-granchildren.
  She was a sister of Mrs. Edmund (Marie) Meinhold and Mrs. Dorothy
  Venturella, both of Elyria, Ohio, and Lester, Berlin.  She was a retired 
  cafeteria worker at Forbes High Schoool and member of the Hooversville 
  Lutheran Church, Hooversville VFW Auxiliary, and Boswell Fire Company 
  Auxiliary.  Family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Saturday and 2-4 and 7-9 
  p.m. Sunday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown,.  Service will be held 
  at 11 a.m. Monday, the Rev. Gerald L. Myers officiating.  Interment,
  Friedens Lutheran Cemetery.
