Born Nov. 21, 1924, in Canonsburg, Pa., a son of the late Samuel and Mary Dneaster. Also preceded in death by a brother, Frank; and sisters; Mary, Julia and Katherine. Survived by his wife, the former Odette L. Christner; and a son, Michael P., married to the former Dawn Madia, Mamaroneck, N.Y. A brother of John and Charles, Central City, and Anne Lenart, Peoria, Ill. Also special nieces and nephews Bonnie, John, Steve and Patty Hoyman. A World War II veteran of the U.S. Army, he received the Bronze Star while serving in the Philippines. Mike was a very active member of the Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church in Garrett where he served as Sunday School teacher, choir member, and was a former council president. Also a member of the UMWA. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Price Funeral Home Meyersdale. Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church, Garrett, with the Rev.
