  RAY E. DOERR
  
    Ray E. Doerr, 68, of Star Route, Accident, Md., died Friday June 25, 
  1982, at his residence following a long illness.
    Mr. Doerr was a retired dairy farmer and a member of the Oak Grove 
  Church of the Brethren.
    Born in Grantsville, Md., he was the son of Goddard Doerr and Etta 
  (Miller) Doerr.
    Surviving are his widow Evelyn (Tressler) Doerr; three sons, Carl 
  Doerr, Thompson, Ohio, and Ronald and John Doerr both of Accident; three 
  daughters, Mrs. Nancy Deckman and Mrs. Florence Friend, both of Oakland, 
  and Mrs. Linda Dovel, Elkton, Va.; one brother, Harry Doerr, 
  Grantsville; 19 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
    Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home in Grantsville.
    Services were conducted at the Oak Grove Church of the Brethren with 
  the Rev. Donald Matthews officiating.  Interment in the church 
  cemetery.
    The family suggests expressions of sympathy take the form of 
  memorials to the Northern Garrett County Rescue Squad.
