  DOHERTY
  
  Patrick Joseph Doherty, West Main Street, Somerset, died Feb. 11, 1973, 
  in Somerset Community Hospital.  He was born in Carrick, County  Donegal,
  Ireland, the son of the late Michael J. and Ann (McLaughlin) Doherty.  
  He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Catherine Myers, and these 
  children: Rosemary Jordan of Philadelphia; Teresa of Rockville, Md.; 
  Mrs. F. E. (Martha) Dowd of Bethesda, Md.; John P. of Silver Spring, Md.; 
  Charles of Los Angeles, Calif.; James of Potomac, Md.; 11 
  grandchildren.  Also, survived by a brother, John P. of Carrick, Ireland. 
  Preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia, and a sister.  Member of St.
  Peter's Roman Catholic Church.  He operated the Doherty Hardware from 
  Dec. 1, 1921, until his death.  Friends are being received in the Richard E.
  Hauger Funeral Home where wake services will be at 8 p.m. Tuesday (today). 
  Requiem mass Wednesday at 9 a.m. in St. PeterAos Catholic Church. 
  The Rev. Father Samuel Tomaselli officiating.  Interment, St.
  VincentAos Cemetery, Latrobe.
