  DOLAN
  
  James Peter Dolan, Sr., 72, of 626 East Main Street, Somerset, formerly 
  of Conemaugh, died Feb. 21, 1983, at Somerset Community Hospital.  He 
  was born Aug. 5, 1910, in Conemaugh, a son of Peter and Julia Dolan.  
  Preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Thomas and Pierre, and 
  sisters, Helen Flatley and Sister Julia Theresa.  Survived by widow, the 
  former Kathleen McDonald, and these children: James P., Jr., married to the 
  former Joan Hajduk, Somerset; Thomas D., married to the former Mary 
  Burke, Johnstown RD 6; Patrick D., married to the former Joy Matthews, New 
  Alexandria; and Kathleen M., wife of John D. Naworal, Midlothian, Va.; 
  also 22 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  Brother of Frank, 
  Jackson, Mich.; John, York; Paul, Somerset; and Aloysius, Philiadelphia.  
  Former proprietor of Dolan Hardware Store and salesman at Jim Dolan 
  Chevrolet-Cadillac Inc.  Member of Elks Lodge 175, Eagles Lodge 1711, 
  Conemaugh Volunteer Fire Company and American Carpacho Citizen's Club.  
  Member of St. Peter's Catholic Church.  Friends will be received 2 to 4 
  and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at George Makuchan Funeral Home, 
  Conemaugh.  Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic 
  Church where Mr. Dolan was a former member.  Monsignor Francis Kelly 
  officiating.  Interment, Sacred Heart Cemetery where Rosary will be 
  recited at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday.
