  Leora E. Dom, 83, Cumberland Highway, Meyersdale, died Oct. 21, 2005 at WMHS
  Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Md. Born June 2, 1922 in Philson, she was a
  daughter of the late Allen A. and Rodella (Laughery) Weimer. She was also
  preceded in death by her stepfather, John W. Horn. Surviving are John Henry
  Dom, her husband of 64 years, whom she married on Feb. 22, 1941; sons, John A.
  Dom and wife Dottie, Meyersdale; Richard L. Dom and wife Suzi, Meyersdale;
  daughters, Patricia A. Perkins and husband Ray, Hyndman; Colleen R. Gaukstad
  and husband Neil, Phoenix; a brother, Allen J. Weimer, Sun City, Ariz.; sisters
  Alfretta E. Blank, Wellersburg; Mildred A. Blank, Harrisonburg, Va.; nine
  grandchildren, four great- grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Dom
  was a homemaker. She was a member of the Grace Independent Bible Church,
  Meyersdale and also the Notables Club. Friends were received at the Harvey H.
  Zeigler Funeral Home, 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman, Monday. A funeral service
  will be conducted at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Tom Horner
  officiating. Interment will be in White Oaks Cemetery, Meyersdale. In lieu of
  flowers, donations may be made to Grace Independent Bible Church, Meyersdale,
  or the Parkinson's Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York,
  N.Y. 10018.
