Dom, who was a well known resident of Meyersdale a quarter of a century ago were brought here Tuesday and interred in Union Cemetery. He was the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. L. G. Dom, and was born in Wellersburg, where the family resided prior to their removal to Keystone Junction, where the father, and later the sons, were employed in the plant of the Savage Fire Brick Company. Later the family removed to Meyersdale where the parents died many years ago. Twenty-four years ago the deceased located in the Pittsburgh district, and for a number of years he had been in the employ of the Dravo Construction Company, of Coraopolis, as an electrician. He died Monday at the family home, 1038 Ridge Avenue, Coraopolis. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Sue (Engle) Dom, a native of Elk Lick Township, for several terms a teacher in the Meyersdale schools, and a son, John L. Dom. A brother, Harry Dom, retired B & O baggagemaster, and a sister, Miss Margaret Dom, both of Pittsburgh, also survive. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday morning in the Armour Funeral Home, Coraopolis, by the pastor of the Coraopolis Presbyterian Church, of which the deceased was a member.
