  MRS MERI DONITZEN
  
    Mrs. Meri Donitzen, 93, of Meyersdale, died March 24, 1979 in 
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.
    She was born Feb. 18, 1886 in Poland, a daughter of the late Andrew 
  and Agnes Tarris.  Preceded in death by her husband, Frank.
    She is survived by these children: John of Meyersdale; Mrs. Helen 
  Chizick of Port Layden, N.Y.; Mrs. Pauline Purcell of Salem Ill.; Mrs
  Harriet Konarzewski of Sterling Hgts., Mich.; Mrs. Sophie Watson of
  Belair, Md.; and Mrs. Mary Washnock of Safety Harbor, Fla.; 34
  grandchildren and 64 great-grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale.  
  Funeral Mass was held in the St. Philip and James Catholic Church with
  Father Clark George officiating.  Interment, Beam Cemetery.
    In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the Cancer Society.
