  Samuel Donitzen, 76, Schellsburg, died May 30, 2005, at Memorial Medical
  Center, Johnstown. Born Aug. 26, 1928, in Indian Head, son of Frank and Mary
  (Michnak) Donitzen. Preceded in death by parents; sons, Samuel Jr. and Robert
  J., four sisters and five brothers. Survived by his wife of 54 years, the
  former Evelyn Feathers; daughters, Cathy A. Miller, Grantsville, Md.; Bonnie,
  married to Curties Cook of DeSoto, Mo.; and Evelyn L. married to Jerry Brant,
  Meyersdale; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Brother of Joseph
  F., Windber, John, Ravenna, Ohio; and Mary Ann Koontz, Hollsopple. He was a
  retired logger and member of St. Thomas Lutheran Church, Hooversville. Family
  will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral
  Home, Stoystown, where a service will be held 10 a.m. Friday. Interment St.
  Thomas Lutheran Cemetery. Contributions may be given to Evelyn Donitzen, 2290
  Cortland Rd., Schellsburg, PA 15559.
