  Cynthia June Downie, 18, of Jerome, formerly of Euclid, Ohio, died Oct. 15,
  1980, in Euclid.  Born Dec. 14, 1961, in Euclid, daughter of John "Jack" and
  Ruth (Speed) Downie.  Preceded in death by father.  Survived by mother and
  maternal grandmother Mrs. Pearl Speed, both of Euclid.  Local survivors
  include these aunts and uncles:  Beatrice, wife of Stephen Gironda, Jane,
  wife of William Borelle, both of Jerome; and Kay, wife of George Levadnuk,
  Boswell.  Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.  Member of
  Jerome Lutheran Church and 1980 graduate of Conemaugh Township Area High
  School, Davidsville.  Friends received from 1 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Hoffman
  Funeral Home, 227 Allegheny St., Boswell.  Body will be removed to Brunner
  Funeral Home, Mentor, Ohio, for viewing Sunday and service at 11 a.m.
  Monday.  Interment, Mentor Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, family requests
  memorials be given to Leukemia Foundation.
