  Ruth O. Drabish, 76, of Meyersdale, died June 9, 2003 in Sacred Heart
  Hospital, Cumberland, Md.  She was born May 27, 1927 in Meyersdale, a
  daughter of the late Robert L. and Alberta (Beeman) Bowman.  She was
  preceded in death by her husband George Dec. 2, 1996, and a brother
  Leroy.  She is survived by these children:  George Robert of Vienna, Va.,
  Ronald of Meyersdale, Lora Jackson of Ellerslie, Md.  and Diane Drabish of
  York, Pa.  Six grandchildren.  She was a sister of Nellie Matiesyn of
  Berlin, and Rose Ohler of Meyersdale.  A number of loving nieces and
  nephews and also two daughters-in-law Carolyn Drabish and Stacy
  Williamson.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday
  at the Leckemby Funeral Home.  On Friday, she will be taken to the Glade
  City Church of God to lie in state from 1 to 2 p.m., the time of service,
  with Rev. Milton Morris and Rev. Paul Middleson, officiating.  Interment at
  Union Cemetery.
