Drees, 79, formerly of Finzel, died May 20, 1983 in Frostburg Community Hospital, Maryland. She had been a resident of Frostburg Nursing Home for four years. Born in Finzel, she was a daughter of the late John Rosenberger and Gertrude (LaRue) Rosenberger. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Drees, and son Wm. Stanely; she is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Anna Lynch, Frostburg; Mrs. Margaret Baer, Pocahontas; Mrs. Mary Jane Burdock, Finzel, and Mrs. Shirley Winner, Consol; two sons, Anthony Drees, Finzel, and Larry Drees, Pocahontas; three brothers, Arthur Rosenberger, Gurney Rosenberger, and Emory Rosenberger, all of Finzel; four sisters, Mrs., Clara McKenzie, Finzel; Mrs. Edna Kimble, Meyersdale; Miss Alberta Rosenberger and Mrs. Evelyn Baker, both of Frostburg; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Friends were received at the Durst Funeral Home where a Christian wake service was held at the funeral home. Mass of the Christian burial was offered at St. Michael's Catholic Church by Msgr. John L. Reinsfelder. Interment was in the Finzel Cemetery. Pallbearers, all grandsons, were Robert Winner, Leonard Winner, Gene Drees, Gary Drees, Ronnie Drees and David Baer.
