Born Oct. 31, 1906, in Hanley, Straffordshire, England, a daughter of George and Jane (Mountford) Brain. Preceded in death by parents; stepmother, Hilda Rose (Creulich) Brain; husband, Philip d'Huc Dressler, who died Sept. 1, 1973; sister, Margaret Ann Brain. Survived by children: Mrs. Jane Dressler Page, Denver, Colo.; Mrs. Petros (Nita Maria) Argyres, Lexington, Mass.; Mrs. Robert (Suzanne d'Huc) Kellar, Seattle, Wash.; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson and half-sister, Mrs. Richard (Kathleen) (Brain) Fuller, Potomac, Md. Member of St. Francis-in-the- Fields Episcopal Church, Somerset. She studied piano at Peabody Conservatory and Ward Belmont College, Nashville, Tenn. She donated her home to become what is now the Laurel Arts of Somerset. No viewing or visitation. Service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Francis-in-the-Fields Episcopal Church, Somerset.
