He was born in Elk Lick Township in 1856, a son of Mr. and Mrs. George Dridy, both of whom died some years ago. Mr. Dridy is survived by one sister, Mrs. Thomas K. Pullin, of Confluence, and one brother, Milton Dridy, of Colorado, and the following half-sisters: Mrs. W. J. Palmer, Listonburg; Mrs. M. E. Goller, Confluence, and Miss Alice Dridy, at home, and a half-brother, John Dridy, of Listonburg. He is also survived by his step-mother, Mrs. Lucinda Folk Dridy, a member of one of the old reliable families of Elk Lick Township. Christian Dridy was a member of the German Reformed Church and a man of sterling worth and irreproachable character, honest and reliable in all his dealings with his fellowmen. He was never married. The funeral took place at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 20, at the family home, the pastor of the Methodist Episcopal Church of Addison officiating. Interment in Addison cemetery.
