Driggs, 76, 807 Goucher St., Johnstown, formerly of Berlin, died Sept. 12, at Allegheny Lutheran Home. He was born May 16, 1902, in Cold Spring. Blair County, son of John F. and Mary Jane (McQuage) Driggs. He was preceded in death by parents and three brothers. He is survived by his widow, former Anna Landis; daughter Mrs. Norman (Marguerite) Maust, Somerset; and grandson, Joseph, and granddaughter, Sally, both of Somerset. He was a brother of Mrs. Clarence (Evelyn) Pearson, Clearfield, and Mrs. William (Ruth) Jackson, Madison, Wis. He was a barber by profession. A member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Berlin, he served as elder and church treasurer. He was former president of Berlin Borough Council, of which he was a member for 16 years. He was also a former member of Berlin Fire Department. Mr. and Mrs. Driggs had been married 56 years. Friends were received at Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home, Berlin, where services were conducted with the Rev. Kenneth S. Swanson, officiating. Interment in I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
