    Alice Kiernan Driscoll, 54, died suddenly July 6, 1988 in California.  A
  former resident of Somerset, she was born July 15, 1933, in Long Beach,
  Calif., a daughter of Katharine Kiernan, of Ojai, Calif., formerly of
  Somerset.  In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Edward
  Driscoll, also formerly of Somerset, and these children: David, of
  Riverside, Calif.; Benjamin, of San Jose, Calif.; and Ellen Bertelsen, of
  La Mesa, Calif.; also seven grandchildren.  A sister of Peter Kiernan,
  Laguna Beach, Calif.  She was a 1951 graduate of Somerset High School.
