  DRUMMOND
  
    Melvin W. Drummond, 65, of West Race Street, Somerset, formerly of
  Boswell died unexpectedly Feb. 2, 2001, at home.  Born April 6, 1935, in
  Conemaugh Township. Son of Melvin A. and Myrtle A. (Polk) Drummond.
  Preceded in death by parents, wife, the former Thelma C. Burkardt, March 2,
  1992, sister Betty and half-brother James.  Survived by daughters: Karen,
  wife of Wade Walters, and Cathy, wife of Matthew Niemiec, both of Somerset;
  Cynthia wife of Robert Thompson, Boswell; Lori, wife of Bradley Stinebiser,
  Somerset; and Carol, wife of Christopher Lasky, Friedens; and grandchildren
  Meagan and Joshua Walters, Trevor, Courtney and Emily Niemiec, Nathan and
  Brianna Thompson, and Taylor Stinebiser.  Brother of Jane, widow of Gene
  Boyer, Stoystown; Nancy Gisbrecht, Boswell RD; Pat, wife of Michael
  Petrunk, Windber; Joan, wife of Ernest Jerin, Hooversville; Richard,
  married to Shelby Burk, Ohio; Peggy, widow of Paul Beener, Hollsopple RD;
  and George Clark, married to Denise Griffith, Jerome.  Also survived by
  numerous nieces and nephews.  Member of Teamsters Local 110, Ebensburg.
  Former truck driver for Sheesley Construction, Johnstown.  He was also a
  volunteer for an area food pantry.  Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
  Sunday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell where service will be
  held 10 a.m. Monday.  The Rev. Msgr. Samuel J. Tomaselli officiating. 
  Committal Jenner Crossroads Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be
  given to any area food pantry.
