ALICE TISSUE DUCKWORTH

  Mrs. Alice Tissue Duckworth, 86 years old, a native of Confluence, widow of 
Zedrick Duckworth, died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 1941, at the home of her son, 
Theodore, in Jeannette.  She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Tissue. 
Burial took place in Jeannette on Friday.
  Her ancestor, William Tissue was among the early settlers in Somerset County, 
a man often mentioned in history.  He laid out the town of Confluence.  Many of 
his descendents live in Fayette and Somerset Counties.
