  AUGUSTUS C. DUCKWORTH
  
    Augustus C. Duckworth, 73, of Corriganville, MD, died Tuesday, Jan. 2,
  1990, at his home.
    He was born Jan. 15, 1916, in Cumberland, MD, the son of the late Claude
  R. and Elsie M. (Wallizer) Duckworth.
    He retired in 1979 from the Kelly Springfield Tire Company.  He attended
  the Calvary Bible Baptist Church in Ellerslie, MD and was a member of AARP,
  the Midland American Legion, the Corriganville Volunteer Fire Company, the
  NRA, the Haystack Mountain Sportsmen's Club, the Barrelville Outdoor Club,
  the Kennells Mills Sportsmen's Club, and was a 50 year member of the
  Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 245.  He served in the Army in World War II.
    Surviving are his widow, Leona R. (Burley) Duckworth; four sons, Wayne
  L. Duckworth, Blairsville; Gary A. Duckworth, Cumberland, MD; William B.
  Duckworth, Oldtown, MD; and Kenneth H. Duckworth, Washington, D.C.; two
  daughters, Sandra M. Daughton, Wellersburg; and Kathleen V. Dom. Johnstown;
  two brothers, Vernon B. Duckworth, Cumberland, MD; and William F. Duckworth,
  Norfolk, Va.; 21 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
   Friends were received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home.
   Services will be conducted at the Calvary Bible Baptist Church Thursday
  at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Ken L. Korns with the Corriganville Md.  Volunteer
  Fire Dept. serving as pallbearers.
    Interment, Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
