Dudas, Sr., 83, of 2 Shaw Drive, Monessen, Pa., died June 7, 1983, in Mon Valley Hospital. Born in Monessen Nov. 25, 1899. Member of Holy Name R.C. Church, Monessen. Fourth degree knight of the Knights of Columbus, Bishop Phelan General Assembly. Graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine, and founder of Dr. Dudas Dental Associates of Monessen. Life member of the American Dental Association and the mid-Mon Valley Dental Society. Former trustee of California (Pa.) State College, and served 24 years on the Monessen School Board and also served on the Monessen Planning Commission. U.S. Army veteran having served in World War I. Also member of various other civic and fraternal organizations. Preceded in death by wife, Mary E. Dudas in March, 1982, and son Andre J. Dudas, in April, 1982. Survived by five sons: Dr. Joseph M. Dudas Jr.; Dr. Thomas P. Dudas Sr., Dr. Martin M. Dudas, John A. Dudas Sr. and Richard M. Dudas, all of Monessen. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and two sisters, Anna Hennigan of Bethesda, Md.; and Margaret Milliken of Washington D.C. Friends and relatives will be received at the Robert A. Billick Funeral Home, Grand Boulevard and Marion Avenue, Monessen, on Thursday and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, June 11, at 10 a.m. in Holy Name R.C.
