Duecker, widow of Harvey N. Duecker, died at her home in Elk Lick Township Wednesday, December 21, after an illness of more than one year. Mrs. Duecker was born September 13, 1863, and was 69 years, 3 months and eight days old at death. She was a daughter of Samuel and Christina Ringler Maust, both deceased, being one of a family of eight sons and two daughters. She was married to Harvey N. Duecker January 20, 1884. He died September 28, 1919. To them were born two daughters, Sallie, married to Lewis Keefer, and deceased September 20, 1917, and Idella, married to Henry Keefer, who survives. She is also survived by these brothers: Lewis, Berlin; Leonard, Salisbury; Jacob, Berlin; Christian, Peter and Henry Maust, Meyersdale, and Wilson, Garrett. One brother, Samuel, and one sister, Ellen, married to Simon Fullem, preceded her in death. There were five grandsons, of whom three are living. She was a member of the Lutheran Church at St. Paul's. Funeral services were held in St. Paul's Church Saturday afternoon. Interment in St. Paul's Cemetery. Meyersdale Republican, December 29, 1932
