Dull died in the Walter Reid Hospital, Washington, D.C., on Monday, August 3rd, after an illness of several years, the last month of which he was confined to the hospital. He was born in Ursina, May 27, 1896, a son of Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Dull, now residents of Harnedsville. He was married nine years ago to Miss Mary Lenhart and is survived by his wife and three children - Lewis, Fern and Frederick. He is also survived by his parents, and by three sisters - Mrs. Elsie Newcomer of Uniontown and Misses Carrie and May Dull of Harnedsville. He was, since the age of twelve, a member of the Church of God of Ursina, and was also a member of Confluence Lodge, I.O.O.F. He was a private in the United States Army during the World War, serving thirteen months with the A.E.F. in France. The body was taken from Washington to the family home at New Centerville, and from there to the Church of God in Ursina where funeral services were conducted by Rev. Updegraf, pastor of the Church of God at Scottdale, assisted by Rev. Gross of the New Centerville Lutheran Church. Interment was made in the Jersey Church Cemetery. The services at the grave were in charge of Harry Lichty Post, American Legion, of Confluence of which the deceased veteran was a member. Meyersdale Republican, August 6, 1931
