Dumbauld, 65, of Somerset, died June 21, 1975, in Somerset Community Hospital. Born November 14, 1909, in Somerset Township, son of James M. Dumbauld, Berlin, and the late Eva D. Weigle. Survived by his widow, the former Mildred Rodgers; a brother, Richard W., Somerset; and one sister, Mrs. Luther (Ruth) Brubaker of Somerset. Preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Lee; and a brother, James. Member of the First Christian Church; Somerset Rotary Club; Somerset Lodge No. 438 IOOF; Eagles; Elks of Meyersdale; director at Somerset Trust Company; and member Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1965-66 term. Graduate of California State Teachers College and taught in the Somerset and Fairhope Township schools. Veteran of World War II. Owner and operator of Dumbauld's Tire service from 1945 until retirement in 1972. Friends will be received Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home. Private services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday with Rev. Paul Weber officiating. Interment Somerset County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to favorite charity or organization.
