Duncombe, 71, who died Tuesday evening in Hamot Hospital, where held at 1 p.m., Thursday, in the Sanford Funeral Home, 1041 W. 26th St., with Rev. Charles S. Beatty, pastor of the Sarah Hearn Memorial Church, officiating. Members of the Masonic Lodge of Waterford, Pa., acted as pallbearers and conducted a prayer service at the deceased's grave in Waterford Cemetery - Erie Times, Jan. 30. Mr. Duncombe was a resident of Meyersdale for a number of years, being employed first as a coal operator, and later as proprietor of the brick and pottery works formerly owned by the late George J. Black and later by his son, the late Frank B. Black. He is survived by his wife and one daughter, living in Erie, and two sons, one living in Pittsburgh and the other in Columbus, Ohio.
