  Elsie S. Dunkle, 91, Boswell RD 3, died Jan. 5, 1985, at Somerset 
  Community Hospital.  Born May 9, 1893, in Point Napier Township, Bedford 
  County, daughter of the Samuel D. and Mary Catherine (Musselman) Lape.  
  Preceded in death by parents; husband, George William; sister, Verna 
  Friend; and brother, Paul.  Survived by these children: Albrige, at home;
  Mrs. John (Mary Catherine) Shaulis, Stoystown RD 1; Mrs. Edward (Audrey 
  Grace) Geisweidt, Jenners; George Alton, married to Jan Morris, Warren, 
  Ohio; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.  Sister of: Mrs.  
  Eula Verna, Pittsburgh; Mrs. Cleda Cook, Greenwich, Ind.; Mrs. Joseph 
  (Linda) Zarilla, Rochester.  Member of the Church of the Brethren.  Family 
  will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at Deaner 
  Funeral Home, Stoystown, where services will be held at 11 a.m.  
  Wednesday, with the Rev. Russell Simpson officiating assisted by the Rev.
  Max DeArmey.  Interment, Jenner Crossroads Cemetery.
