  DUNMYER
  
    E. Jay Dunmyer, 78, Meyersdale, died Oct. 27, 2002, at his residence.  Born Aug. 16, 
  1924, in Milford Township, son of Harvey Edward and Cora Ada (Weimer) Dunmyer.  
  Preceded in death by parents, wife, the former Audrey Dora Zerfoss, who died Jan. 17, 
  1996, son, Allan Dwight Dummyer [sic], who died Feb. 27, 1999, and sisters, 
  Gwendolyn Thomas and Ivadene Ogline.  Survived by these children, Waneta, wife of 
  James Stinebiser, of Youngwood; Mona Lee, wife of Rev. Roger Hoffman of Hyndman, 
  and Gloria J., wife of Leroy W. Bittner of Meyersdale; daughter-in-law Diane (Bittner) 
  Dunmyer of Hyndman; 13 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.  Brother of Mrs. 
  Fred K. (Betty I.) Shaffer of Somerset.  Member of Hostetter Church of the Brethren.  
  Retired in 1985 with 24 years of service as a machinist helper with the CSX railroad.  
  Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral 
  Home, Somerset, where service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday.  Rev. William 
  E. Davis officiating.  Interment, Weller Cemetery.  Contributions may be made to 
  Hospice Home Care of Memorial Hospital of Cumberland, 921 Seton Drive, Cumberland,
