Dunn died suddenly at his home in Riley Row, West Salisbury September 15 presumably from heart disease and other ailments aged 63 years 8 months and 17 days. The funeral services were held at the house on the following Thursday at 2 o'clock p. m. The Rev. Sparling, pastor of the Salisbury M. E. Church officiating. Interment was made in the Odd Fellows' Cemetery in Salisbury. The deceased is survived by his wife and one son who will remain in the home in West Salisbury. There are also surviving two brothers and one sister. The Dunn family came to Salisbury from Cumberland about two years ago and Mr. Dunn opened up a shoemaker shop in the Dively building several months ago; he removed his shop to the Emerick stand in W. Salisbury and had many patrons but owing to poor health was not able to do very much himself and much of the work devolved upon his son, Fred who will now conduct the shop since the death of his father.
