  JOHN J. DUNN
  
    John J. Dunn, 408 20th st., Altoona, died Nov. 8, after an extended illness.
  
    Born Jan. 6, 1885, in Mauch Chunk (Carbon Co.) he was a son of John and Anna 
  (Leslie) Dunn.
  
    His first wife, the former Maybelle Elizabeth (Buterbaugh) Connerby, preceded him in 
  death in 1934.  She previously lived in Meyersdale.
  
    He is survived by his second wife, two stepsons:  William B. Bennett, Frederick, Md.; 
  Logan J. Connerby, Altoona; and three grandchildren.
  
    A former engineer and blacksmith for the Pennsylvania Railroad Co., he retired in 1956 
  with 45 years of service.  He was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and of the 
  Holy Name Society of Altoona; also the Catholic Knights of St. George.
  
    Funeral service was held in Sacred Heart Church, Altoona, Friday morning, with 
  interment in St. Benedict cemetery, Carrolltown.
