Dupont Jr., 28, of Quecreek passed on June 27, 2001 in Quemahoning Township. Born Aug. 28, 1972 in Somerset. Son of David (and Holly Menear) Dupont Sr. of Rockwood and Phyllis (Spory) married to Terry Ohler of Stoystown. Preceded in death by maternal grandfather Philip Spory and paternal grandfather James Dupont. Survived by parents, wife Kimberly S. Tressler-Dupont of Quecreek, daughter Chasity Amber Dupont, and stepson Brandon Tressler, both at home: sister Lori Ann, married to Jason S. Krause of Somerset, step-brother Justin, and step-sister Malorie Ohler of Stoystown, step-sister Kayla Menear of Rockwood and step-brother Terry Brett Menear of Uniontown. Also maternal grandmother Mamie Nelson of Somerset, paternal grandmother Pauline Dupont of Rockwood, nieces Alexandria and Jasmine, and nephew Tyler Krause. Nephew of James F. and Joseph H. Dupont, Charley Nelson, Judy Shaffer, Rosemary Gardner, Betty Mort, Joy Fussco, Sandy Dunmeyer, and Debra Dupont. He was a 1991 graduate of Somerset High School where he was an outstanding wrestler and also a graduate of Somerset County Vocational and Technical School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines and was employed by Genesis Coal Co. Member of the Rockwood American Legion Post 279. He was an avid hunter and loved to ride his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Pastor James Monticue officiating.
