Dupont, 75, of Rockwood, passed away Dec. 5, 1995, at his residence. Born Nov. 16, 1920, in Rockwood, son of the late Carl and Margaret (Nicholas) Dupont. Preceded in death by an infant brother and a sister. Survived by his wife of 44 years, the former Pauline Catherine Baker, and three sons: James F. Dupont, Rockwood RD 2; David G. Dupont Sr., Friedens, and Joseph H. Dupont, Rockwood: two brothers: Carl Dupont of Alabama and Don Dupont of Rockwood; four sisters: Dorothy Ferrell and Betty Bryan, both of Delaware; Anna Marker of Rockwood, and Leona Hoover of Garrett; grandson, David G. Dupont Jr., and granddaughters, Lori A. Dupont, Ambry R. Dupont and Katie Jo Dupont; great-grandchildren: Chasity Amber Dupont and Alexandria Jean Dupont. World War II veteran of U.S. Army. Member of VFW Post 185, Rockwood; Post 279 American Legion, Rockwood, and United Church of Christ, Rockwood. He was a retired B&O Railroad trackman. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood, where funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday with the Rev.
