  DUPONT
  
    Margaret DuPont, 79, of Rockwood, died December 10, 1977, in Somerset 
  Community Hospital. She was born April 4, 1898, in Rockwood, a daughter 
  of Michael and Mary (Bennett) Nicholas. 
    She is survived by three sons: James of Rockwood; Carla of Attalla, 
  Ala.; and Donald of Ft. Bragg, N.C.; and four daughters:  Mrs.Dorothy 
  Ferrell of Newark, Del.; Mrs.Betty Bryan of Wilmighton, Del.; Mrs.Anna 
  Marker of Rockwood RD 1; and Mrs.Leona Hoover of Garrett; 15 
  grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl, in 1967; also by a 
  son and a daughter, three sisters and two brothers. She was a member of 
  the United Methodist Church of Rockwood.
    Friends will be received in the William J. Wood Funeral Home, 
  Rockwood from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.  Monday, where services will be
  conducted Tuesday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Dewayne Johnson officiating.  
  Interment, Rockwood IOOF Cemetery.
