  DUPPSTADT, Ruth W.  11/25/07   Daily American
  
    Ruth W. Duppstadt, 89, Richland Township, formerly of Schellsburg and Central City,
  died Nov. 24, 2007, at Richland Woods Assisted Living. Born April 5, 1918, in Greenwich,
  a daughter of Thomas and Zula (Rice) Woods. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Donald
  "Sam" Duppstadt; two brothers and a sister. Survived by her daughter, Bernadine "Patty"
  Bowen, married to Clark, Schellsburg; a son, Thomas, Ohio; seven grandchildren; several
  great-grandchildren; and a sister, Goldie Beck, Fredonia. She was a homemaker who enjoyed
  crocheting and caring for her plants. She was an avid bingo player. Family will receive
  friends 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be
  held at 2 p.m. Monday. The Rev. Edward DeVore officiating. Interment Odd Fellows
  Cemetery.
