  DUPPSTADT
  
    Virgil P. Duppstadt, 73, Stoystown RD 3 (Buckstown), died Feb. 18, 1993,
  at Conemaugh Hospital, Johnstown.  Born June 26, 1919, in Shade Township,
  son of the late Harry and Nellie (Stutzman) Duppstadt.  Survived by his
  wife of 56 years, the former Luella Stutzman, and these children: James R.,
  married to the former Carole Benning, Stoystown RD 2; Jean L. Trella,
  Somerset; Larry D., married to the former Paulette Hager, Gaithersburg,
  Md.; Barry L., married to the former Kathleen Guthrie, Charlotte, N.C., and
  Ronald L., married to the former Buff Edwards, Johnstown; grandchildren:
  Melody Wetmiller, Mark, Matthew and Michael Duppstadt, Michelle Kimmel,
  Lesa Dodson, Jayne Winck, Dawn Haines, Michelle Key, Jennifer, Susan,
  Lauren and Kyle Duppstadt; 14 great-grandchildren.  Brother of Erma Payne,
  Rancho Murrieta, Calif.; Karl Duppstadt, Stoystown RD 3, and Richard
  Duppstadt, Stoystown RD 2.  Retired from Latrobe Construction Co. and
  Operating Engineers Union.  Member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church,
  Buckstown, where he had served as a council member and officer; Silver and
  Gold Senior Citizens, Shanksville, and Somerset Lodge 358, F.& A. M. 
  Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
  p.m. Saturday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown.  Viewing from 1 p.m. until
  time of service at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, with the
  Rev. Merlin O. Sjoberg officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial
  Park.  Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society
  or St. Paul's Lutheran Church, RD 2, Stoystown, PA.  Masonic services will
  be held at 8 p.m. Friday.
