Her mother preceded her in death by seven years. It was about four years ago that little Mae was adopted by Mr. and Mrs. Henry Struble, of Frostburg, where she had a good home and was well cared for. Over a year ago she began to have hemorrhages of the nose and (at?) the of five she was taken to a hospital in Baltimore for treatment, where she received the best of attention but death claimed her as his own, her beautiful spirit passing to the God who gave it. This fail blossom, called away from earth ere her life was scarce begun, gave promise of much usefulness. She was a favorite at the hospital because of her loving disposition and quick intelligence. She has left an impression for good on all who knew her. Her body was brought to Pocahontas on Sunday morning, and funeral services were conducted at 2 o'clock by Reg. A. S. Kresge after which the remains were placed in their final resting place in the Greenville Cemetery. Meyersdale Commercial, Dec. 30, 1915
