    Aleck Kennedy Durst, 50, of Meyersdale RD 4, was DOA April 29, 1995, at
  Meyersdale Medical Center as a result of a fire at his residence.  Born
  Dec. 1, 1944, at Meyersdale, son of the late Lester W. and Colleen E.
  (Sowers) Durst.  Survivors include 2 sons, Donald K. Durst, Chesapeake,
  Va., and Robert Hutzell, Akron, Ohio; a brother, Donald Durst, Meyersdale;
  sister, Kathryn Younkin, Springs; his paternal grandmother, Lettie Durst,
  Salisbury.  Also survived by a good friend, Rose Rice, Meyersdale.  Member
  of Springs Mennonite Church and was a carpenter.,  Friends received from
  2-4 and 7-9 Monday at the Newman Funeral Home, Salisbury.  Services will be
  conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Springs Mennonite Church, with the Rev.
  Steven Heatwole officiating.  Interment, Springs Cemetery.  Expressions of
  sympathy may be directed to Springs Mennonite Church.
