Durst, 87, died Oct. 16, 1980 in Meyersdale Community Hospital. She was born in Addison, and was a daughter of the late George P. Smith and Minnie B. (Turney) Smith. Her husband, Clarence E. Durst, preceded her in death. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Frostburg, Md. She is survived by two sons, Mark T. Durst, Kearneysville, W. Va.; Eugene F. Durst, Desert Hot Springs, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Oleita D. Daniels and Mrs. Evelyn R. Hetrick, both of Fort Hill; one brother, George Smith, Addison; three sisters, Mrs. Reba Bowser, Salisbury; Mrs. Mabel Camp, Trafford; Mrs. Olive Greenwood, Republic; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, Md., where services were conducted by the Rev. Gilbert Floyd. Interment will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Fort Hill.
